About King's Kids' Home

Established 1993

From a humble 4-room tiled shelter to a modern 10,000 sq.ft home across 1.5 acres.

Born Out of Deep Compassion for Orphans & Abandoned Children

King’s Kids’ Home was started in the year 1993 out of genuine compassion towards orphans, semi-orphans, and abandoned children. Pastor David and his wife welcomed children into their lives with great love and Godly care, despite battling severe financial hardships with four children of their own.

It all started with four small rooms in a tiled building with one common toilet accommodating 21 children. By God’s grace and the support of Apostle Merle Gebers and benevolent well-wishers, today God has enabled us to build a modern Home of nearly 10,000 sq.ft, built over one and a half acres of land in Ondipudur, Coimbatore.

Fresh Dairy Initiative: The idea of buying cows was worth every bit! Our children enjoy wholesome morning and evening tea with fresh, creamy milk every day.

"Dearly Beloved in Christ, Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!"

I was born in Attoor, Kanyakumari district, India. I lived with my parents who were unskilled native laborers. They struggled hard to bring me up due to extreme poverty. Being neglected as a youth wounded me deeply and led me into wrong hands. Life was painful with no hope, and at age 15 I contemplated ending it all.

At age 19, I had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. I opened my heart to Him and felt God's love restore all that was broken. A heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders. The Lord kept His promises to me, and that same love drives our vision to give every orphaned child a loving home and a purposeful life.

Mr. Henry from Erode, a well-trained music teacher, is engaged to teach children with passion to play musical instruments like Violin, Guitar, and Keyboard.

Computer Education

Children are taught emerging digital technologies, computer literacy, and essential software to compete in today's digital world.

Tailoring & Craft Work

We conduct tailoring, craft work, and painting classes to enable creativity and practical skills. Creative volunteers are always welcome!

Spoken English

Dedicated Spoken English coaching is provided to boost communication confidence and facilitate higher academic achievements.

Dance & Cultural Arts

Interested children are taught cultural and modern dance forms to encourage artistic expression and stage confidence.

Karate & Self-Defense

Children are taught self-defense techniques and physical fitness. A certified Karate master provides weekend coaching.
